Petersen Automotive Museum Motorcycle Cruise-in

While the majority of normal people in Los Angeles were sleeping in after a long week, a group of motorcyclists were putting on their cycling gear and heading out to the Petersen Automotive Museum on Museum Row. The riders were there for two reasons: their shared passion for motorcycles, and pancakes. That’s because today was the Petersen’s Motorcycle Cruise-in and Pancake Breakfast.

The group was small, the bikes ranging from sport bikes, cruisers,  and some heavy-duty touring bikes. The event was sponsored by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. The event was neat in my opinion because the Petersen tends to be associated with cars, but in fact they have interesting motorcycle events, like the Arlen Ness show currently on exhibit.

The complimentary pancake breakfast provided by Johnny Rocket’s was pretty darn good. Not a bad way to start a Saturday. See below for some photos from today’s event.
